In this digital essay Marlene Wurfel documents building a take-a-dinosaur, leave-a-dinosaur garden in her community, otherwise known as a little free dino library. She explores the relationship between little free libraries, the Parkallen Community Garden (a collectively grown and harvested permaculture project), her own role as a community gardener, deep ecology, children’s gardens, autonomy, petroleum, and toy dinosaurs. Videography with Canon Rebel T3i, and edited using Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition.
