WIL’s foundations in experiential learning emphasize structured work placements, mentorship, and reflective practices. It highlights different WIL models, including internships and project-based learning, while addressing challenges such as logistical and regulatory barriers. The chapter also examines current trends like remote collaboration and virtual WIL.
